City to Release PJA Stocks to International

Jakarta Governor, Basuki Tjahaja Purnama plans to open PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol (PJA) to public. Stocks would not open for domestic market, but also international.

Ancol should have international standard through this effort

“Ancol should have international standard through this effort. It becomes great if handled by public,” he said, Monday (3/14).

At this moment, Jakarta Provincial Government has stock by 72 percent, while the rests are owned by PT PJA by 18 percent and public 10 percent.

Basuki Supports BUMD to Go Public

“We have no problem if Ancol sells its 40 percent of stock. Ancol is about to go public,” he added.

Basuki assessed supervision would be easier to do if public owns Ancol.
